MentorMob has won this year’s gdgt live startup table giveaway!
Demoing at a gdgt event along side A-list tech firms like Sony and Nokia provides MentorMob the chance to mingle with the kind of consumer electronics enthusiasts who already speak the language of online learning.
Thematically, gdgt has undergone a transformation of sorts. Originally launched by Peter Rojas and Ryan Block of Engadget as a kind of gathering place for tech geeks (as explained by internet virtuoso Veronica Belmont here), gdgt now aggregates new product reviews from around the web and gives them a “gdgt score” from 1 to 100.
I just hope MentorMob’s Learning Playlist interface stands up to gdgt’s famously high standards for new technology! And I think that it will.
The event is Friday, May 11th, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at the Tribune Building. The official hashtag is #gdgtChicago.
