At MentorMob, we’ve been thrilled to watch as teachers around the world have incorporated Learning Playlists into their lesson plans in order to engage and motivate their students.

After only a year, our community spans over 60 countries, we’ve partnered with the Mozilla Foundation, and we’ve been invited to ring the opening bell for the NASDAQ stock market—all because people believe in the future of MentorMob.

But that’s not the whole story.

MentorMob is also an ambitious experiment in crowdsourced learning outside the classroom, where anyone who wants to get better at just about anything can

  • get the help they need
  • find people with the same interests
  • contribute their own insights
  • and make the world a better place in the process

Think of it as a people-powered search engine offering the visual engagement of Wikipedia, the clamoring community of reddit, and the epic ambitions of Skynet-if Skynet were dead set on helping everybody be awesome rather than exterminating the human race.

But in order to make MentorMob work, we need your help!

After all, a people-powered community needs people! And not just any people. MentorMob’s community is smart, curious, and always looking for ways to broaden their horizons, share their knowledge, make new friends, and try new experiences.

So if you want to get in on this experiment at the ground level and join MentorMob’s exclusive next phase, comment below or email me at, and I’ll be more than happy to answer your questions and give you the details.
