For just over a year now, MentorMob has been bringing together teachers, students, and life long learners from all over the world who are interested in harnessing the power of technology to re-imagine how we think about learning.
Both inside the classroom and out of it, MentorMob community members have discovered that using Learning Playlists to organize high quality online content makes learning more engaging and more accessible. But our work has only just begun.
After months of collecting feedback from our users—which includes everyone from teachers flipping their classrooms, to hobbyists pursuing their passions, to organizations committed to social good—today we are releasing an advanced new set of features that will allow a limited number of MentorMob community members to comprehensively map out the best of the web.
You can enter your email to request your invite here. (If you already have an account, just log out momentarily to view the MentorMob splash page.)
Like Tom Cruise’s futuristic police captain in Minority Report, we already have access to all the information we need to complete our task—our challenge is to manipulate and curate that overwhelming amount of data in a meaningful way.
And with this next version of MentorMob, we’re one step closer to putting a truly 21st century tool in the hands of everyone with the drive to improve their lives, their community, and the world at large.
So who’s ready to strap on some augmented-reality gloves and get to work?
