Actor and wordsmith Stephen Fry makes the case that the only thing worse than dull, dreary, unimaginative use of language is dealing with sneering Grammar Nazis who insist on the supreme importance of technical accuracy.

Think it sounds ugly when people use “Google” as a verb? (I, for one, do.) Stephen would argue that “it’s only ugly because it’s new and you don’t like it.”

I think he might be right.
